Bluedio R+ Legend Version Headphones Review

Bluedio R+ Legend headphones review

There are a lot of Bluetooth headphones out there ranging from cheap and good to expensive and bad. The Bluedio R+ Legend headphones fall within the mid priced bracket for bluetooth headphones while offering a ton of features. Although they look strikingly similar to the first generation Dr Dre Beats Studio, they are touted as having better sound quality and not suffer from such a distorted bass.

The Bluedio brand might not be as famous as Beats, Sony, Sennheiser, Klipsch and AKG. But they are slowly but surely getting some recognition among headphones reviewers. The company aims to make its mark in admittedly crowded market by offering a more refreshing design and sense of comfort. More than accuracy they lean more towards that sweet sounding flattering everything you play through them side, in which a lot of people will enjoy.

Build

The Bluedio R+ Legend headphones have a sleeky look, while also having soft and cozy earpads and top pads. They are very easy to fold for portability, and you can also adjust the headband according to your preference. While they come with a flannel pouch, I think It would be better if they had opted for a hard case instead.

Sound

Bluedio R+ Legend headphones are clamped with a total of 8 drivers to ensure smooth air flow, providing powerful bass effect and accurate treble. The sound is impressive, I don’t really mind if they are somewhat bass heavy. With its aptX audio suppression solution you can really feel the music, they uses the latest Bluetooth chip 4.0 that gives you a steady connection and you no longer have to worry about headphones cable.

However for those people who are not really into bass feel, you can customize your Bluetooth EQ settings to reduce some bass. You can customize the EQ via the – & + volume buttons at the same time remedies some of the bass, you will hear a beep sound and it will go to the next mode you can continue the process until you’ve got what you are looking for.

Summary

While their chunky design may be too big for some people, they are surprisingly light and comfortable. The battery can last up to 28 hours with only 3-5 hours charging time. Overall functionality is very impressive and the sound is great, even when in Bluetooth mode. If Dr Dre Beats are out of your budget, then the Bluedio R+ Legend headphones offer a stylish and resonably priced alternative.
